La Datcha Country Retreat 5* is located in the lower reaches of the Volga. It occupies the vast territory on the bank of a channel which flows into the Caspian Sea. The retreat’s lodge has magnificent views on the meadows and the channel with fisher’s boats floating along it to the lower Volga and the Caspian sea. La Datcha was designed by the architects of HONKA company in such a way that it looks like a landing stage — a floating dock for steamboats to berth. A chef invited from Saint-Petersburg is responsible for cooking in La Datcha. He gets inspiration from recipes of Russian traditional cuisine and keeps high traditions of Russian hospitality which involve serving caviar, pancakes and fish dishes. Our exclusive wine list will make jealous the best restaurants of the world. The whole ground floor of the left wing is for spa and fitness. After workout the guests can visit our steam room or hammam for tired muscles to relax. There is also a plunge tub located between the steam room and the hammam and it takes you only a few steps to refresh there. Breakfast. Fishing for catfish, carp or asp. There is a dedicated fishermen’s area in the main building’s ground floor. It has a separate entrance located to the left of the main one. Fishing clothes and gear are kept in the wardrobe, there are also showers and a drying room. Here the guests dress up before fishing and here they come back to put off fishing camouflage, take a shower and change their clothes. At your disposal there are three motorboats (two «Kasatka-710» and a Finnish АМТ 230 DC) for fishing and trips with retreat’s ranger as well as all the necessary equipment (fishing overalls, gear and baits).
